Leh with Kashmir via Kargil (10 N / 11 D)

Day 1: Arrival Leh

On arrival meet and greet by representative and transfer to the hotel. The day is free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. Later visit Market and Shanti Stupa. Enjoy Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Leh- Khardungla – Nubra Valley

After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardung-la (alt: 18,380 ft.), Reach Deskit/ Hunder in the afternoon and check-in at your camp / hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore Hundar and the white Sand Dunes where you can also opt for a short camel Safari on the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Overnight in camp / hotel at Hunder / Deskit

Day 3: Nubra Valley – Khardongla – Leh

After breakfast, explore Deskit and then visit the dramatically located, 15th century Deskit Monastery perched high on a rocky promontory above the village. Thereafter drive back to Leh via Khardungla, reaching in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel

Day 4: Leh – Pangong Lake

After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake via Chang-la pass Pangong Lake- largest brackish water lake of Asia, is 4-5 kms wide and about 135 kms long of which about two-third portion lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. After sightseeing at the lake,drive back to Leh, reaching by the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Leh – Visit Monasteries & Palaces

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of the 12-storied Thiksey Monastery and then the Hemis Monastery, On the way back from Hemis, the Shey Palace and view the gigantic copper-gilt Buddha statue installed here during the 17th century, and then visit the Druk Padma School (Rancho School) at Shey. Finally visit Sindhu Darshan Ghats near Shey and drive back to Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Leh – Alchi –Kargil

After early breakfast drive to Kargil en-route visit Hall of Fame, Magnetic Point, The Alchi Choskor, Lamayuru with the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery, and the Moonland Hills. On the way to Kargil, you will be crossing the Fotula & Namika La passes and Mulbek to view the 9-Mtrs. tall rock sculpture of Maitreya Buddha on the roadside. Kargil is at an hours drive from here. Overnight stay in the hoel at Kargil.

Day 7: Kargil- Drass – Zojila- via Sonamarg-Srinagar

After early breakfast, depart for Srinagar via Drass, Zojila Pass & Sonmarg. After crossing the pass, the road descends to pass via Sonmarg to reach Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. In the evening enjoy Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay in hotel / houseboat at Srinagar.

Day 8: Srinagar Sightseeing

After delicious breakfast, full day sightseeing of Mughal Gardens (Nishat / Shalimar / Chashma Shahi) & Shnakaracharya Temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel / houseboat.

Day 9: Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar

After early breakfast drive to Pahalgam -Valley of Shepherds via old part of Srinagar. Drive through Saffron Fields, visit Awantipura ruins -1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awanti wareman. Drive through the Pine Forest along with Lidder River. The total distance of about 98 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. One can enjoy a Pony Ride through thick Pine Forest. Evening Return to your reserved accommodation for Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

After having breakfast proceed for Gulmarg. It has one of the best Ski Slopes in the world and The highest Golf Course with 18 holes. Enjoy fun filled Gondola Ride and one can also opt for 2nd phase of Gondola (direct payment ). Dinner & Overnight stay at the houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 11: Departure from Srinagar

After having breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar Airport for taking a flight back Home with lots of sweet memories you will love to reserve life long.
